About Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy can be a very powerful tool to return the body to optimal functioning. Imbalances in underlying systems (e.g. immunity, digestion etc) may give rise to health issues. By identifying the underlying imbalances Nutritional Therapy seeks to return the body to optimal functioning.

Can you imagine how it would feel to be free of those health deficits? To feel energised when you wake up, motivated for the day, creative in whatever you turn your mind to and even on a bad day, coping?

Nutritional Therapy is powerful, targeted and hugely effective. Sometimes small changes can reap significant rewards. Do you have to eat perfectly all the time? No! It's important to understand that perfection is not necessary but if you have a problem, you first need to fix it. Once fixed you can move on with a balanced healthy diet. A good example of this is blood sugar imbalances, these may make it difficult to lose weight and to balance them you may have to make changes, once you have done that and they are balanced, you can return to a normal healthy balanced diet (keeping up some good habits you have formed along the way of course).

Nutritional Therapy aims to support many body systems:

  • Cardiovascular health

  • Blood sugar balance

  • Nervous system health

  • Musculo-skeletal health

  • Immune function

  • Digestion

  • Detoxification

  • Thyroid hormone balance

  • Healthy metabolism (encourages optimal weight control)
